What is the NewFlag
Innovation Awards?

The NewFlag Innovation Awards is an innovation competition for HR product services and solutions across the Greater China area. The NewFlag Award is highly recognized and well accepted, as the symbol of excellent quality, innovation and customer value. In order to appraise the diversity in the field of innovation in a professional manner, the award breaks down into 3 disciplines: the NewFlag Award, the NewFlag Best Product/Solution Award, and the NewFlag Award. Each competition is organised once every year.

How to obtain the NewFlag
Product Innovation Award?

Participants can enroll into a total of 14 categories of selections by submitting their innovation products. The selection method faithfully follows the concept of “in search of the great creativities and innovations in the HR industry”. All participating products are inspected by authority. Only products/solutions with superior quality, innovation and customer value can be recognized by the juries and awarded the NewFlag Awards.

What is
"NewFlag"?

The NewFlag Product Innovation Award is an innovation competition across the Greater China HR service industry, created by China's leading HR think tank HRflag. The awards accept enrollment of HR service agencies from the Greater China area. The NewFlag Innovation Awards include 3 disciplines: the NewFlag Award, the NewFlag Best Product/Solution Award, and the NewFlag Award. Each competition is organised once every year.

Which products
can sign up for the competition?

We accept products that are registered with the HR service in Greater China; the following conditions must be met:

- New products and solutions released within 18 months; or the new versions of existing products and solutions;

- The enrolled items are targeting HR functions or enterprise employees as the service or user object;

- With significant differentiation from the similar existing products and solutions in the market;

- With great customer value shown from the innovative functions, models and experience delivered by the item;

- Has been launched to market with customers or users in place;

- With no less than 100 paid corporate customers for to-Business (2B) products; with no less than 100,000 free users or 1,000 paid customers for to-Customer (2C) products;

- With actual project practice; those purely released for the “NewFlag Awards winning purpose with no actual project practice, shall not be eligible for the competition;

- To apply for the NewFlag Awards, participants must agree with the “NewFlag Awards Terms and Conditions” and “Terms and Conditions of HRflag on the Innovation Competition “NewFlag Awards”.

Can the design prototype
be signed up for the competition?

The NewFlag Award does not accept prototype to participate. The main measure of innovation for the NewFlag Award is the customer value created, thus products without users or customers are not eligible for application.

Is there an amount limit
of products for participation?

There is no limit on the number of products to be registered for each applicant, but each product must be applied separately.

Can I sign up multiple groups for a single product
at the same time?

You can sign up multiple groups for a single product at the same time, and you do not have to provide product samples or materials separately for each enrollment group.

in the NewFlag Product Innovation Award?

You can download the participation enrollment form from the official website of the award. In addition, you can also check your enrollment profile and information about the documents required for the competition. You can interrupt the application process at any time and continue at a later stage.

What information do I need to prepare to
sign up for the NewFlag Product Innovation Award?

In order to complete the registration, you must first provide a general information form and product introduction information for the participating products. At the same time, the organizer will request samples or account numbers for certain products. In addition, you may need to transmit image data (specification size: DIN A4 / resolution: 300 dpi) and product text description (500-1,200 words with spaces). Basic information must be submitted at the time of registration, and image data and product descriptions can be delivered in digital form no later than Nov 17th, 2023.

How to choose enrollment group?

What should be included
in the product description?

In order for us to have a preliminary understanding of the product, the part of the description should present your product in a short, objective manner and state the uniqueness of the product in a few sentences. We recommend that you avoid using metaphors to keep the instructions concise and precise.

What does "digital data"
mean?

In addition to the participating products, additional information are welcome to be uploaded, such as images or videos. Please note that the content of the attached materials should not be duplicated with the main information that has been paid.

Where should the physical samples
of the product be sent to participate in the selection?

After the enrollment is completed, the product with a volume less than 0.5 cubic meters and a mass less than 10Kg must be sent to the organizer, HRflag company, and the address is as follows:

When can I delivery
the participating products?

All products that need to be assembled on site must be delivered by Nov 17th, 2023;
assembled or pre-assembled products must be delivered by Nov 17th, 2023.

Who will assemble
the products on site?

Our logistics team only provides the pick-up service and the most appropriate arrangements and preparations for the participating products during the selection process. The services provided do not include the installation or assembly of the products. If the product cannot be shipped in assembled or pre-assembled shape, participants are required to install and assemble on their own and assign their team to assemble on site.

What are the attentions
when delivering the product?

Please note that both software and hardware participating products must be delivered in a functionally complete state so that we can test them.

Can the participants introduce
their products on site?

Participants cannot introduce their products on site.

When will I receive the results
of the selection?

By the end of Nov, participants will be notified of the results by email or telephone.

Retrieve the
participating products
after the selection
If the participating product does not win the awards, do you have to retrieve them?

All the participating products and related materials that are not awarded will not require to be sent back first, and the organizers will destroy them after the awards are issued.

Cost and Fee
Cost and Fee?

Due to the proliferation of participating enterprises and projects, in order to filter out low-quality and invalid submissions and control the total number of submissions, the 2024 NewFlag Awards will charge an application fee of 5,000 yuan for each project (product, service, solution), which must be paid by November 15, 2023. Late payment of the registration fee will be treated as an automatic waiver.

What will be charged
if the product is awarded?

If you win an award, there will be no additional charges.

What are the benefits of winning
the NewFlag Award?

The "NewFlag Award" is an award for the recognition of innovative products/solutions in the HR industry. If your product wins the NewFlag Award, you can choose to use the NewFlag Awards Winners Label to advertise. The NewFlag Awards Winners Label will be widely recognized in the industry and will be the best tool for propagandizing and popularizing, which will make the award-winning design stand out in the market and gain the attention of the industry. In addition, all award-winning products will be included in the 2023 China Innovation Yearbook of HR Services Industry and will be displayed online.

When can I publish
my own winning news?

After you have successfully received written notice from the organizer, you can use the NewFlag Awards Winners Label to publicize your winning news. At the beginning of December, we will provide a further customized version of the press release for your public relations.

How long is the NewFlag Awards
Winners Label used?

After the publication of the ban has been lifted and the award has been notified, you will be able to use the NewFlag Awards Winners Label. Taking into account the time period of innovation, the NewFlag Awards Winners Label will be used for 12 months.

What are the attentions regarding the annual report on HR service industry innovation?

Please note that if your participating product is awarded, the information and materials you submitted for enrollment will be used in the “2023 China Innovation Yearbook of HR Services Industry”.
